So yesterday officially marked the first day of a new era at our church- our new minister took his official spot in the pulpit! And, did a great job! I am so excited to have the Kerrigans here! I have so many hopes for them-hope that people don't overburden them with problems, hope that people give them time to settle in and adjust, hope that they are not compared to ministers of the past but rather given the opportunity to bring their own messages and gifts, hope that they are able to share their ups and downs of moving away from friends and family and not feel like they have to put on a happy face all the time! Those are just some of my hopes for them.
