Turkey Time!

So my family thanksgivings are a bit 'unique'. We celebrated Thanksgiving with my dad's extended family on Saturday. By extended family, I mean there were 47 people there. And no, we don't have it at someone's house- we have it in the church fellowship hall. Yes, they are all family minus the waitress and her son that we invited to come join us. Yes, we have more than one turkey. Yes, we know everyone's names (it's rough sometimes, but we've got it down to a science!). It's pretty much like having a church potluck, except its all awesome turkey day food!
So the fun part is that we get to do it all over again on Thursday with my Mom's family. And yes, it will be 40+ people again. And lots of good food, again!
What we do miss out on is the men retiring to the living room to watch football. :-)
All in all, these times provide the opportunity to be truly thankful for all that we have and all those around us! All 47 of them. :-)
